Rhona-Mae Arca
Rhona-Mae Arca is a music educator, pianist, vocalist, writer, shutterbug, doggie parent and anime/manga otaku.
She maintains a private studio in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where her students learn everything from classical to jazz and from pop to video game music. Rhona-Mae also performs as a solo and collaborative pianist at weddings and other special events.
She holds an ARCT in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music and Level 7 Contemporary Idioms Certificate from Conservatory Canada. Rhona-Mae also has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge. She has furthered her artistic development through singing lessons with Sherry Kennedy and jazz piano lessons with Derek Stoll.
She has published articles in over six publications, including Synchronicity, Music Alberta Magazine and The Iaido Journal. Rhona-Mae writes primarily for Music and Music Education on Suite101. She also enjoys writing articles in other areas, including dogs, health and wellness, spirituality as well as anything pertinent to anime and manga "fandom".
